Remodels in existing homes pay a flat $59.50 when the project is under $10,000. At $10,000 or more, the city values the work at $88.00 per square foot or takes the applicant’s figure, whichever is greater. A $15,000 job then falls on the table line of $64 plus $11.75 per added $1,000.
