Established in 2020, Busy Builders is Owned and Operated because of a dream. After decades in the trades, Busy Builders was started to bring integrity and honesty back to the remodeling and home building world. We are a registered and insured Iowa contractor; Iowa Contractor Registration #C140184.

## How We Work

Busy Builders started in 2020 with a simple promise: bring integrity and honesty back to construction. The founders spent decades in the trades and saw too many homeowners burned by vague bids and surprise costs. So we built the company around the opposite. You get a written, fixed price before work starts. You see the schedule. You know who is in your home.

Since then, more than 1,000 Central Iowa homeowners have trusted us with their projects. We build new homes, remodel kitchens and bathrooms, finish basements, build decks, and put on additions. One company, one point of contact, from the first walkthrough to the final inspection.

We are a registered Iowa contractor (Registration #C140184) through the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals, and Licensing. Registration is the state requirement for general contractors in Iowa, and licensed electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians handle those trades on every job that needs them. Permits get pulled before work starts, not after questions come up.

Our service area covers about 50 miles around Des Moines: the metro plus Boone, Dallas, Guthrie, Marshall, Warren, and Story counties. Establishing Busy Builders in 2020, Blake set out to partner with the area’s most affordable and trustworthy contractors in order to build a dream team that can handle any-sized dream project in any area of Iowa.
